Alabaster is a way that we contribute towards building churches all around the world! While we understand the church consists of the people of God and not a building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry help provide a sense of permanence, functionally enhance ministry efforts, and convey an attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to “put down roots.” Starting Sunday, May 3, you can pick up an Alabaster box at the Missions Center to take home and put loose change, cash, checks in to collect throughout the month of May. On the last Sunday of May, we will empty our Alabaster boxes into one huge box and take up the offering during service.
